Add Predefined Comments

Predefined comments are useful for comments that are used often. Users can add a predefined comment to a service request, work order, or case without having to type it every time.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Predefined comments must be added in Designer under Service Requests > Predefined Comments or Work OrdersPredefined Comments.
  1. Create or open a service request or work order.
  2. If the category has not been selected yet, select it.

  1. Click Save.

  1. Click Add Comment.

The Add Comment panel opens

  1. Click Select Predefined or enter a carat (^) in the comment field.

  1. Select the desired predefined comment. The comment is inserted where the cursor is. If there are many predefined comments, typing after the caret (^) filters the results.
  2. Click Save Comment.
